Lemmy is a movie about the rock legend Lemmy Kilmister. We follow the lead singer and bassist of Motörhead during three years of his life, touring, recording and drinking Jack & Coke.
The documentary is well made and full of anecdotes about Lemmy:
The 64 years old man found his inspiration, among some others, in the Beatles and Little Richard for the 20 albums he recorded with the band.
He holds a collection of Nazi Memorabilia in his small place in California. He is also addicted to slot machines and women (the legend says he had more than a 1000 women)!
He seems lonely and nice for a hard-rock legend.
The most touching part is to see how much is appreciated and respected by the whole music community: Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Jarvis Cocker, James Hetfield & Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Steve Vaï, Marky Ramone (The Ramones), Billy Bob Thornton, Ice-T, Ozzy Osbourne Geoff Rowley pay tribute to the man…
“There is no fake bones in Lemmy”

The british band also released a new album in January of this years, called The Wörld is Yours.
As usual it is loud and heavy, fast and punk rock! It actually sounds like any other Motörhead but it is so good!
